The Corsage Project

Purpose

Corsage Project scholarships are awarded on an annual basis to assist a graduating female high school student who is pursuing post secondary education.

Criteria

To be eligible the student must:

• Participate in the Corsage Project;
• Possess limited financial resources;
• Demonstrate proven academic achievement; and
• Contribute to her community.

 Application

All applicants must submit a 200 word personal essay about the importance of continuing education and/or why it’s important for youth to make active contributions to their respective communities.

Guidelines

Scholarship applications will be reviewed by the Corsage Project Planning Committee.  The scholarship will be awarded to a select number of students each year and recipients will be notified in the Spring.

Restrictions

This scholarship is not renewable. Only graduating students intending to enroll in college or university and meet the criteria mentioned above are eligible to apply.  Previous scholarship recipients cannot re-apply.
